An undrafted 29-year-old rookie ran 25mph on a treadmill during training for the upcoming NFL season. Video of the impressive feat was posted on YouTube and has since gone viral.

Robert Gill, who didn't play college football, signed a three year contract with the Cardinals after displaying is speed during a recent tryout.

Even more impressive is that just weeks before his tryout, Gill suffered an injured hamstring, but the Cardinals were impressed with what they saw and hope Gills speed will be able to help them win some games once the NFL season kicks off this September.

Gill set a standard NFL record this year after he was clocked going just 4.17 seconds by a former coach in the 40-yard dash. His time beat Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson's record of 4.24 seconds set in 2009 according to ESPN.

Gill played five years in the Arena Football League and AF2, a spin-off of the Arena League which has since closed.

The viral star isn't the fastest runner in the world however, as Olympian Usain Bolt has been clocked going as fast as 27 mph according to the International Association of Athletics Federations.

The video has since been viewed over 1.4 million times total according to ESPN.

What do you think of the video? Did Gill's run impress you or not?
