Chrysler Group announced this week that it sold 156,686 units in the U.S. during June, an 8 percent increase compared with sales in June 2012. The increase marks Chrysler's best June sales month since 2007.
The Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, and Ram Truck brands each posted year-over-year sales gains in June compared with the same month a year ago according to a Chrysler press release. Ram Truck's 23 percent increase was the largest sales gain of any Chrysler Group brand last month.
Chrysler also extended its streak of year-over-year sales gains to 39-consecutive months in June.
"Last month Chrysler Group set seven individual vehicle line sales records and achieved our 39th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth. The fundamentals for continued industry gains in new vehicle sales remain intact," said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales in a press statement.

Sales of the best-selling Jeep Grand Cherokee were up 33 percent in June, the largest sales gain of any Jeep brand vehicle last month. It was also the Grand Cherokee's best June sales month in nearly eight years.
All Jeep models in production recorded year-over-year sales gains in June according to Chrysler.
Seven different Chrysler vehicles set sales records in June including the:
-Jeep Wrangler
-Jeep Compass
-Jeep Patriot SUVs
-Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan
-Dodge Challenger
-Dodge Dart
-Ram Cargo
Chrysler finished the month with a 68-days supply of inventory, or approximately 408,336 units according to the press release.
