Apple has reportedly struck a three-year agreement with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to build new A-series of chips for future Apple devices according to DigiTimes.com.

TSMC will reportedly start manufacturing the chips in July.

Current rumors have indicated the next Apple device will be coming out in the fall, but whether the device is the iPhone 5S remains to be seen.

If Apple chooses to release the iPhone 5S this fall, than users may have to wait almost a whole year for the iPhone 6.

The last iPhone was released on Sept. 21, 2012, which was 11 months after the 4S was released. Apple could chose to switch things up a bit like they've done in the past for their iPad devices.

The iPad 4 was released under six months after the iPad 3 was unveiled, all while the iPad 2 was still available for purchase.

Photos were leaked this week of what could be the iPhone 5S.

In the photos a redesigned flex cable connectors can be seen, and on the device itself, the two connectors supporting the display and the touch digitizer are both oriented horizontally.

Concept videos have also been released to help users get an idea of what the new device might look like. So far most concept videos and photos have looked similar to the iPhone 5 on the outside, with minor adjustments inside the device.

Two rumored specs that have been mentioned by a number of different media outlets include a retina + display and dual LED flash. Neither has been confirmed by Apple as of press time.
