iPhone 5S Release Date Rumors: New Device Revealed in Leaked Photos, What Apple Has in Store Next (PHOTOS)

Apple might be close to releasing its iPhone 5S after supposed images of the new device were leaked to the internet.

The images show the interior and outer shell of what could be Apple's next device according to a report by MacRumors. If the photos are of the iPhone 5S a lot of people are going to be disappointed at how similar it is to the iPhone 5.

The rear shell in the photos posted shows a vertical pill-shaped window for the LED flash, which differs from the round window found on the iPhone 5. This could further rumors of a dual LED flash many have expected for Apple's next device.

The interior does show a different battery with an Apple Part Number of 616-0652, which differs from the battery found in the iPhone 5 that came with an APN of either 616-0611 or 616-0613.

The battery also appears to have a higher capacity of 5.92 WHr, slightly higher than the 5.45 WHr capacity found in the iPhone 5.

Apple has yet to announce when the iPhone 5S will come out but most experts feel it should be out before the end of the year, and possibly as early as the fall. More color options are expected for the 5S as well similar to the ones offered for the iPod nano according to MacRumors.
