Apple has yet to even announce what their next device will be, but that hasn't stopped people from speculating everything from how big it will be to what color options will be available.

It's commonly believed that Apple will unveil the iPhone 5S next week at its Worldwide Developers Conference next week, and the iPhone 6 will be revealed shortly after the new year.

More Memory:

Apple added a 128GB version of the iPad to its lineup earlier this year, and many believe the iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6 will be made available with the same amount of storage as well. In order to get people to consider the iPhone 5S instead of just waiting for the iPhone 6, the company has to make some major appealing adjustments, and more data storage would be a good start.

Color Change:

The iPhone has long been either a black, white or silver device, but the iPhone 6 could come in a variety of color options according to ExtremeTech.com. A gold-trimmed phone has also been discussed however, which would mean a drastic change compared to the iPhone 5.

Release Date:

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek said earlier this month that he strongly believes the iPhone 6 will be out around June 2014, which would mean the device has another year before hitting stores according to the International Business Times.

Other Rumors:

The iPhone 6 is expected to have a larger screen as well, which could be closer to 4.8-inches, similar to the Galaxy S 3 according to GottaBeMobile.com. Regardless of the size, the new screen is expected to be water and dust proof if Apple has their way.

The iPhone 5S is expected to run on iOS 7, meaning the iPhone 6 would probably get its own operating system as well. This could either mean iOS 8 or even 9 depending how fast they want to release the new phone.
