The 2014 Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition will be sold for $125,050 in the U.S. according to a company press release. The price includes a $950 destination charge.

The limited edition vehicle goes on sale this fall.

The price for the 911 was decided based on the price of the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera, which goes for $99,850, including shipping.

Only 1,963 vehicles will be sold, a number that represents the same year the original model was released.

The 50th Anniversary model will be equipped as standard with a Powerkit, which increases engine performance to approximately 430 horsepower and includes the Sport Chrono Package.

The package adjusts the engine and transmission and includes a stopwatch mounted on the dashboard that shows individual lap times, lap number, lap distance, and total driving time.

Porsche claims the vehicle can go 0 to 60 in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.

The coupe includes a flat-6 rear engine and rear-wheel-drive. The vehicle comes with two unique color options, a dark graphite grey and a lighter geyser grey metallic.

Black monochrome is also an available option.

Special 20-inch wheels are also standard, and the vehicle's seats get a retro-looking "Pepita" tartan design similar to the 911 released in 1963.

The new vehicle is expected to be shown at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show this September according to Porsche.
