Former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield could lose his driver's license after failing to pay over $300,000 in child support payments.

The legal despite has been going on for quite some time now and back in September the former boxer was held in contempt of court for his failure to pay after court documents revealed the large amount of money he owes according to TMZ.

The Georgia Department of Human Services went after Holyfield last year to pay the money he owes towards his daughter's child support which is approximately $372,097.40. In September however, court documents showed he actually owed closer to $536,900.

The court ordered Holyfield to pay $2,950 a month until the complete debt had been paid off and he put down $17,700 for his first payment according to TMZ.

Since that first check however Holyfield has repeatedly failed to send more money, as he still owes $327,858.36.

A Georgia judge has now told the Division of Child Support Services to take away Holyfield's driver's license as "an incentive" to force him to pay the money.

A hearing has been scheduled for August to review Holyfield's progress.

Holyfield is regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all-time and is known worldwide for the "ear biting" incident during a bought with Mike Tyson in 1997.

The former champ earned $34 million for that fight alone according to ESPN.
