New official teaser video for the soon-to-be-launched 2018 Jaguar E-Pace has just been posted. The clip boasts that the new SUV has been tested to overcome extreme surfaces and all-weather conditions.
In a few days, the next generation E-Pace is set to make its grand debut. Jaguar took to its official YouTube account a new teaser video showing off the capabilities of the new SUV prior to its launch this coming July 13. The clip highlighted the various tests that the new model has completed.
The official clip showcases how the new E-Pace has stood the all-weather and challenging road tests. The new vehicle put to test its traction toolbox and all-wheel-drive capability in the Arctic Circle. The SUV can be seen gliding and skidding off the snow-covered circular track.
Another scene shows how the new E-Pace glides on the rough roads of Walter's Arena in U.K. The model's all-surface capability was tested on this rocky track.
The official video also features the rugged Nurburgring track in Germany. The durability, performance and handling of the upcoming SUV has been put to test here. In fact, the new E-Pace braved more than 400 laps in this famous track.
The teaser video also defines the rigorous process that the new SUV has gone through prior to its official launch. The automaker boasts that the 2018 Jaguar E-Pace has completed 120,000 hours of testing, via 150 prototypes and with the assistance of 500 engineers.
According to Graham Wilkins, chief product engineer for the Jaguar E-Pace, "Out team of world class engineers and dynamics specialists have meticulously tuned and developed a true Jaguar." He emphasized that they have created "a compact performance SUV that is true to Jaguar's performance DNA."
As expected, the company still kept the confidentiality of the design as the video only features the new model under heavy camouflage. Only the taillight of the new SUV was shown in close focus, but this detail was already revealed on the official website of the automaker.
The 2018 Jaguar E-Pace will finally wear off its camouflage next week in London. The teaser video also noted that the July 13 grand launch may also be witnessed live in their official Facebook account.
