The Renault Sport 2027 Vision Concept has been set to debut in the U.K. later this week. The brand has chosen the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed to host the grand launch.
In celebration of its 40 years of participation in Formula One, Renault will showcase how motorsport has transpired from the past to the present and future. Renault will take center stage the anniversary showcase at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.
"Goodwood Festival of Speed is the perfect backdrop to showcase the wonderful history of machines that have given Renault its position as one of the most historic brands in Formula One," Renault U.K. senior communications manager Mark Waller shared. Waller teased that their booth in the event will allow guests to have a feel of what it is to drive the Renault brand.
The activation showcase will celebrate the heritage of its range of race cars. In partnership with Rapiergroup, a brand experience agency, Renault will deliver the activation in the upcoming FOS.
Rapiergroup director Rob Brazier expressed their enthusiasm to partner with Renault for almost 30 years. He said, "We couldn't be prouder to have the privilege to work with Renault to deliver both an immersive and interactive consumer experience that will really bring the Renault brand to life."
The activation showcase will also feature the latest special concept models of Renault, as well as its production cars. The Renault Sport 2027 Vision Concept will be part of the special showcase lineup.
The RS 2027 Concept was first unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show last April. It expressed the brand's idea of how it foresees the future of Formula One in after 10 years.
The concept includes a better preview of the F1 driver. The upcoming model will have a transparent cockpit with a polycarbonate roof so spectators can clearly see the person driving the new race car. Furthermore, the concept will also feature a transparent helmet, but the automaker did not reveal yet the process on how it will be done.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed will open its doors on June 29 and will end on July 2. Check out for more updates in our next report!
