A 23-year-old father has been charged for with child endangerment and wrongful entrustment after allowing his 9-year-old daughter to drive his car.
Authorities were called to a parking lot of Headland's State Park in Ohio on May 19 at around 10:15 p.m. after a car hit a tree according to the Huffington Post.
When police arrived, they discovered a 1998 Honda with significant damage to the front end of the vehicle.
Jaron McGee admitted to letting his daughter drive his car in the parking lot with him in the passenger seat.

The young girl lost control of the vehicle after pressing down on the acceleration pedal to hard. She drove the vehicle right into a large tree according to the Huffington Post.
Family members picked up the girl from the scene of the crash before officers could arrive. The girl and he father were not injured in the crash, although police are continuing to check up on the girl.
McGee was also held on outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants from other jurisdictions according to the Associated Press.
McGee is scheduled to appear in Painesville Municipal Court at 1 p.m. this week.
