The 2018 Mazda 6 may not be appealing at first glance. This is so because it may look unchanged from the exterior. Well, unfortunately, even its interior somehow remains unchanged as well. So what is it to look forward to in this sedan, to begin with?
The 2018 Mazda 6 is soon to hit the showrooms looking pretty similar from the current. Well, some changes in its exterior involve the introduction of new tail and headlights with slightly different front and rear bumpers. To appease fans and loyal supporters of the Mazda 6, there is the Mazda 6 Coupe reported to be underway. However, this has yet to be confirmed.
It is expected to continue having I-Active sense, full-color TFT screen, and much more. One of its "inside" changes is its power. The 2018 Mazda 6 is an ideal choice for those who want to have a more powerful sedan option. Some rumors suggest a twin turbo inline-four or turbocharged V-6 unit under the hood. It is also rumored to produce a potent 300-horsepower.
Other news, however, does suggest that the upcoming Mazda 6 is not that powerful. The 2018 Mazda 6 is expected to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 7.5-seconds. Right, this is entirely different from the previous news for having 300-horsepower as it may only come with 184-horsepower. No matter the acceleration, its engine has been rated to get impressive fuel efficiency.
Its fuel EPA is rated 26 mpg city, 35 mpg on the highway. It is slightly worse for the manual transmission with 24 mpg city and 34 mpg on the highway.
Anyway, the 2018 Mazda 6 is expected to be released by late 2017. Although it is lackluster in most parts, its character and demeanor suggest a sophisticated attitude and more upscale vibe. If it is all worth it, then it depends on who's looking and who's buying. After all, Mazda is known for quality cars and Mazda 6 is one of that.
