Fans of black may well be disappointed upon finding out that C63 AMG may not come in Black Series anymore. This is recently hinted by AMG boss along with other news and developments. Why will AMG cut the C63 Black Series? Will it really be a cut, to begin with?
Industry experts have predicted that the current C63 AMG would get a Black Series variant which is the same case for its predecessor. However, this may not be the case as hinted by AMG head honcho, Tobias Moers.
Moers said that the C63 AMG in this generation may not get a Black Series because they are very busy. Not much has been said except that the C63 AMG will also never have an all-wheel drive option. All of it will be working on the rear-wheel drive.
For the longest time, car enthusiasts and industry experts thought that AMG will create a stripped-down variant of the C63 to directly compete with its arch nemesis, the BMW M4 GTS. This may not be the case as AMG is already in the thick of large expansion, with the addition of 10 new models last year.

It is also on full steam as AMG is currently developing its Project One, which is expected to produce 1,020-horsepower. Development is expected to be on all-time high in preparation for its debut this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
However, it may not be the end of the world for the Black Series. Since it is highly desired by many, it may actually happen. At the end of the day, high demand for such vehicle may turn the tables around and eventually have it finally made available.
Analyzing the words of Moers at the New York Auto Show, he did not directly say that there will never be a C63 AMG Black Series. It is just hindered by the company's tight schedule and many other demands that have to met the soonest possible time. However, the Black Series may not come sooner (if it ever gets produced) as it is obviously not the company's priority at the moment.
