2017 Volkswagen Golf GTE: The First Plug-In Hybrid Car From VW

For an ideal choice of vehicle that covers long distances in a short time, the 2017 Volkswagen Golf GTE offers that. As for drivers who wants to drive a car with zero emissions in departure and destination areas, Golf GTE also has a say about that.

VW was able to optimize the model and simultaneously sharpen its design as a part of their major product update. Some of the car's new features include a predictive hybrid strategy that work's well in conjunction alongside with a navigation system.

Golf GTE now also offers a full range of infotainment systems and latest assistance. For the first time, this progressive compact vehicle is available with Traffic Jam Assist which is a semi-autonomous driving for up to 60 km/h and a digital Active Info Display. Optional Discover Pro infotainment system with gesture control and 9.2 inches display is also offered.

The radio system of the 2017 Volkswagen Golf GTE is the Composition Media that comes with an 8.0 inches display. As to the USB port and Bluetooth connection for the mobile phones has also been redesigned and redeveloped. With the car's Active Info Display and new infotainment systems, it certainly creates impressive digital displays as well as controls for the model.

This prototype drives all-electrically. It always starts on the zero emission mode, given that the battery has an adequate amount of power charged. Whenever the car is in a hybrid mode, it automatically uses its two drive sources either separately or together, for the car to attain an optimal efficiency.
