Followers of the popular "Seven Deadly Sins" anime are still waiting for a confirmation from Netflix if, indeed, it will release Season 2 of their favorite anime. Fans are still hoping that before this year ends, it will be able to release the much-awaited season.
It can be recalled that before the OVA of the "Signs of Holy War" was released speculations circulated that Netflix will be showing Season 2 after it showed the "Seven Deadly Sins" advertisement banner. Followers were quick to judge that it will be showing the OVA instead but they were still hopeful that they were wrong. But they were indeed right after all.
Sources revealed that the reason why the famous "Seven Deadly Sins" manga was postponed was due to the health condition of the author, Nakaba Suzuki. Last December, Suzuki was hospitalized, and this prevented him from completing the manga. He promised to complete the manga once he was allowed to continue writing.
Reports claimed that Season 2 would feature the continued quest Melodias and his team needs to undertake to fight against their enemies. It will reveal more characters and more revelations once Season 2 is about to begin. Fans couldn't help but feel excited as they wait patiently for the coming of the next season.
Meanwhile, Episode 212 showcased how Gloxinia and Diane found out about the real Gowther. Here he told the two kings why he needed to create a doll to be his connection to the outside world. He also mentioned that what he only wanted was for the Holy War to come to an end and not to just be free to appease the angered Gloxinia. When Gloxinia decided to leave to head towards the Light of Grace. Diane asked for some time to speak with Gowther and his doll. Gloxinia agreed but reminded her not to let his guard down.
Surprisingly, Gowther became curious about the relationship between Diane and King Gloxinia has and even asked Diane about it. Somehow, Gowther was envious about it.
This prompted her to ask if Gowther will be able to end the war. When Gowther mentioned about his death, Diane asked him what will happen to the puppet. Gowther then talked to the mechanical boy and told him he is free and even gave him a heart through his heart magic. Gowther then entrusted the boy to Diane.
In the final scene of chapter 212, the princess, all covered with blood was being carried by Rou. This shocked the "Seven Deadly Sins" followers. They can only wait for the upcoming Chapter 213 to know what happened in the last scene.The next chapter will be titled "That is what we call love" with the caption "Slaughtering their fellow brethren in a giant betrayal of trust.
