Renault envisions highly upgraded F1 racecars as it revealed an enticing peek of its fascinating concept for the cars in the future by a decade from now. In a week or two, the French carmaker will disclose its RS 2027 Vision concept car in the upcoming the Shanghai Motor Show.
The uncovering was set as part of Renault's 40th Anniversary from its first F1 race to mark the company's notable record in the history of sports. And thus, the revelation of the cars would seem to coincide with the carmaker's golden celebration.
Called the RS 2027 Vision, the concept shows how F1 cars are expected to appear in around a decade from now that will feature some technologies which may make it into Renault road cars. It is attempted to follow on from the exuberant Trezor concept, publicized during the 2016 Paris Motor Show, which foresees the future of Renault's road cars. And as a matter of fact, the all-electric GT Trezor was hailed as the most beautiful concept car of 2016 during the 32nd Festival Automobile International at the Hôtel Des Invalides in Paris, France.
Undeniably, the official picture does not expose much of what the RS 2027 Vision would look like. But it does show a staggering sight of a front wing with a driver clambering on board. The photo will surely put the F1 fans into an ecstatic vibe once they have already seen the concept, or even more when the actual car has arrived into three dimensions. And it will add to the record of Renault's championship winning cars in the series with former F1 ace Sebastien Buemi at the wheel of last year's winning car.
"Renault is eager to play a major role in shaping Formula 1's evolution and to put drivers very much back at the heart of the sport," from a statement illustrating RS 2027 Vision concept. Stay tuned for more updates!
