For Pokemon players, catching a Legendary Pokemon can be considered an honor. Now, this honor could be possible because Niantic will include Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew and other Legendary Pokemons in Pokemon Go.
This announcement actually did not come as a surprise for Pokemon enthusiasts. It was previously reported that Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew will appear in the game in some form or another.
The Legendary Pokemon's absence has been a question to gamers. There are a lot of speculations surrounding it with some gamers believing that they could find these Pokemons in the wild.
It can be remembered that Mewtwo had a big participation on the game's first trailer. The first trailer showed a big chunk of people fighting the rare Pokemon.
This brought speculations that the Pokemon could be unlocked in public events. Aside from that, there are also speculations that they can be encountered randomly.
Shockingly, Articuno already appeared in the game. Multiple players had confirmed sightings of it and one player also reportedly managed to catch the Legendary Pokemon.
Niantics reportedly gave the player the Pokemon as an apology to an issue its user faced. Even though, a lot of gamers are doubting that validity of the story.
The game developers have been teasing the Legendary Pokemon for quite a while now. It could be remembered that gamers who reached Level 5 and interacted with a gym where invited to join three teams, Team Instinct, Team Mystic and Team Valor, that are connected to Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres.
According to Niantic, Pokemon Go was built for users to experience augmented reality. The company explained that it is planning to take advantage of the wearable technology that exists today, reported Birmingham Mail.
The program developers stressed that they are just getting started with Pokemon Go. Currently, their partners are creating A.R. glasses and other advanced A.R. technology for the game.
To date, there have been no official announcements on the release of the Legendary Pokemon. Nevertheless, Niantic announced that the legendary Pokemons for Pokemon Go would be released sometime this year.
