One of Toyota's best-selling vehicles is said to have been given a refreshing new look. The 2018 Toyota Sienna is expected to come in a revised styling along with new features at the New York Auto Show next month.
The 2018 Toyota Sienna gets an updated styling and new features. The 2018 Sienna is set to make its official debut at next month's New York Auto Show. The upcoming minivan is said to sport an updated design and a set of new features that will set it apart from the outgoing model.
The styling updates of the new Sienna minivan are mostly on the vehicle's front fascia. The front bumper now has a grille that takes inspiration from the Toyota Camry's. The side skirts on the Sienna SE trim are now standard on all trims of the 2018 Sienna. The 2018 Sienna SE trim gets a laminated front windshield. The Limited trim, on the other hand, gets acoustic side glass. Both additions to the SE and Limited Trims are said to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
The 2018 Sienna will have a 3.5-liter V6 engine under its hood that is capable of 296 horsepower and mated to an eight-speed transmission. Both the engine and transmission originally debuted on the 2017 Sienna.
One feature that is probably the highlight of the 2018 Toyota Sienna is the addition of the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P) across all trims. The TSS-P on the new minivan includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beams.
The new Sienna will also come with the Entune 3.0 entertainment system with App Suite Connect which unfortunately does not compare to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Other features are five USB ports spread across all of the vehicle's three seat rows and an updated rear-seat entertainment system with streaming capabilities for Android OS devices.
