OnePlus has announced that it will be releasing another limited edition black-colored OnePlus 3T. The Midnight Black 3T will be released online by the of this work week.
Limited Edition Midnight Black OnePlus 3T to be released online before this month ends. A limited edition all-black 3T by French retailer Colette was already launched earlier in the week. Unfortunately, only 250 units were produced and made available for sale only at a pop-up store in Paris. Interested parties need not fret this time around because a new limited edition Midnight Black 3T will be released online making it more accessible for purchase.
The new all-black smartphone will be available on HBX, a Hypebeast online store. A total of 250 units will go up for sale this coming March 24 at 12:00 PM EST for customers in the United States, Europe, and Hong Kong.
The smartphone will also be available on OnePlus's own online store. However, the number of units available has not been made public. Therefore, it is best to keep an eye out for the Midnight Black 3T on OnePlus's online store if one is unsuccessful on HBX.
The Midnight Black OnePlus 3T is exactly like the previous all-black model but without the Colette logo on the back. It comes with 128 gigabytes of internal storage and 6 gigabytes of RAM. The smartphone will cost US$479, the same price of the standard metal-colored 3T.
Speaking about the new all-black 3T, OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau said, "This new version of our most successful phone so far combines powerful hardware, fast and smooth software and the finest attention to detail."
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer mentioned that it worked on perfecting the Midnight Black 3T by testing more than 30 black color versions. The company said that it used "three carefully applied dark coatings 14 microns thick" maintaining a natural metal look and feel. It sports an anti-fingerprint layer to protect it from smudges and keep it looking clean.
