"Rick and Morty" Season 3 is just right down the corner. There has been a lot of news and rumors going around about the upcoming season, which avid fans can't wait to get their hands on.
Update. The new season of the animated show has already been written. The animation team is on the verge of finishing their work.
It could be remembered that its co-creator Dan Harmon joked that the show is late because of him. He explained that as the show progressed, it has been harder for him to write about it, reported Den of Geek.
Even though, he clarified that there is no issue between him and the studio. To quench the thirst of fans for new episodes, Adult Swim just recently launched an interactive website that they can play while waiting for the upcoming episodes.
Delayed Release. According to Inquisitr, the show is supposed to be released last year. This rumor started after the show's creators and writers constantly teased about the new season.
It could be remembered that Mike McMahan, one of the show's writers, teased that they are already recording the first episode of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. McMahan fueled more speculations after announcing his work is done in November.
However, everything was put out the window when 2016 ended and the new season was never shown. Dan Harmon even has to apologize for the shows delay.
Release Updates. So far, there has been no official release date for the show. Even though, there has been speculations that the show might return this April.
Other speculations suggest that the show will be released in June but that still remains to be seen. Regardless of the drawbacks, fans could expect "Rick and Morty" Season 3 to be shown before the year ends.
"Rick and Morty" is considered by many as a parody of "Back To The Future." It tackles about the adventures of an alcoholic scientific genius named Rick who moved into his daughter's home. There he embarks on the dangerous and surreal adventure in the multiverse with his teenage grandson Morty and sometimes granddaughter Summer.
