Honda is definitely one of the best in producing the best vehicles out there. The 2017 Honda Civic is another addition to the roster of excellent vehicles. However, it also has its fair share of critics. This may not be everyone's cup of tea but it sure is one of the best on the road and is best suited for the practical driver.
According to Motor Trend, the 2017 Honda Civic will be available with 1.5-liter direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder which is mated with a six-speed manual transmission for its coupe and sedan models. It also has a four-door hatchback and the return of more athletic and sporty Si model.
The 2017 Civic will be offered in coupe and sedan. Aside from the above mentioned, there is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder available with a standard manual transmission. As the Civic boasts of impressive fuel economy, it is proud to showcase its 2016 model an EPA of 31/42 mpg for its 1.5-liter engine and 31/41 mpg for the 2.0-liter engine. The 2017 model may be around the given range or even better.
It is also considered one of the safest as it is expected to earn an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating as both the 2016 sedan and coupe effortlessly achieved this distinction. The 2017 model also is well equipped with ACE body structure, front, side, and curtain airbags. Standard safety features also include ABS brakes, brake assist, LED daytime running lights, and multi-angle rearview camera.
The 2017 edition of the Civic is already its 10th generation. However, as the previous generations were considered uninspired and lack the level of excitement as reviewed by industry experts, the latest addition is more improved in more ways than one. For one, its exterior (which is the first to be noticed) is no longer safe-looking and boring. Its interior also took an upgrade by having more room for passengers and cargo.

The engines for 2017 Honda Civic also offer adequate power and the general driving dynamics deliver well. Indeed, Honda doesn't want to just be complacent on its market positioning so the latest Civic may well bring them back the distinction as the best in the compact segment.
As added by The Car Connection, in connection with the impressive fuel economy of 2017 Honda Civic, all models manage to have 35 mpg combined. This a good result worthy of a perfect score in the record of industry experts. The bigger 2.0-liter inline-four mated with six-speed manual manages to have 28 mpg in the city and 40 mpg highway, and 32 mpg combined in the sedan. This is understandable as the bigger the engine, the more its fuel economy somehow gets affected.
