Tiger Woods and his newly announced girlfriend only just confirmed the news that they were dating earlier this week and she's already found herself in awkward situations.
The Olympic skier reportedly chanced an encounter with Woods' ex-wife Erin Nordergren at his daughter's little league baseball game the same day the two became "Facebook official."
'I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods,' said Vonn on Facebook. "'I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends.'
The devoted Vonn avoided meeting his ex-wife however, by choosing to stay in Woods' car for more than an hour according to the Daily Mail.

The downhill skier probably preferred to stay in Woods' black Mercedes than chance an awkward meeting with Elin, but E! News reports that the two didn't even sit near one another during the game.
'Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating," said Woods on Facebook. 'We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.'
Vonn is also still recovering from a bad fall while competing earlier this year, so choosing a comfy seat in an air-conditioned Mercedes might have actually been preferable compared to a steel bench set up for parents attending their kid's game.
After the crash at the Alpine World Championships in Austria, which left the skier's career in jeopardy, Woods sent his private jet to fly her home to Vali, Colorado. The act was seen as a kind gesture at first, but then reports were leaked that the two were dating, which wasn't confirmed until this week.
Woods also has Vonn living in his luxury yacht in Privacy, F.L., which is reportedly not too far from his home in Jupiter, F.L.
Elin has also been in the news lately as word broke out that she's finally over Woods' and is now dating billionaire Chris Cline. Neither Cline nor Elin have made the relationship public yet, but after Woods and Vonn's public announcement earlier this week, it should only be a matter of time.
