The 2018 GMC Terrain is a new small compact crossover from General Motors that offers excellent powertrains. The latest Terrain comes with updated metal and improved fenders. The crossover comes with a more aggressive grille. The newest GMC Terrain is offered in different model variants, includes SLE, SL, SLT and the hottest Denali trims.
The American multinational automaker revealed that the newest GMC Terrain would go on sale later this year. The 2018 GMC Terrain will take a more aggressive look to shared GM signature architecture. The 2018 Terrain crossover will compete with the latest Mazda CX-5, Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4.
According to The Car Connection, the 2018 GMC Terrain has a larger grille and an enhanced sculpted rear end, which is similar to the Acadia. The body of the compact crossover is the newest GMC's design theme. The newest model gets excellent body-colored bumpers and, chrome side mirror caps, as well as chrome designed door handles.
Standard 19-inch aluminum wheels will equip the upcoming GMC Terrain, which is bigger than its predecessors that own a 17-inch or 18-inch wheels. The center console is designed with a larger sports storage bin. The Terrain will have extensive exterior and sharper turbocharged engines, which is similar to Equinox.
The new turbocharged engines of the 2018 GMC Terrain generate efficiency and better power. The engine will make a 1.5-liter turbo-4 with 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. The crossover will highlight 39.7 inches of leg room and a better hip room of 51.8 inches. It will have a smaller wheelbase and a better length bumper-to-bumper of five inches, as per GMC.
The upcoming 2018 GMC Terrain comes with an easy-to-use infotainment and advanced safety technologies including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The eight-inch-diagonal color touch screen will display safety system like Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking assistant and Surround Vision Camera. The latest crossover will also feature a Semi-Automatic Parking Assist, Side Blind Zone Alert, and Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning.
