"Harry Potter" alum Emma Watson has reportedly dropped out of Disney's live-action version of "Cinderella" according to Moviefone.com.

Multiple media outlets have reported that the actress is no longer in talks to star in the movie, which will be directed by Kenneth Branagh. Academy-award winning actress Cate Blanchett is still set to co-star in the movie as Cinderella's wicked stepmother.

Watson will still get her chance to play a princess however, as she has already agreed to star in Guillermo del Toro's "Beauty and the Beast." The project has yet to start filming, meaning Watson could take other roles for the meantime.

Since the "Fifty Shades of Grey" phenomenon started last year, rumors of who would play the leads have seemingly changed on a daily basis. Online hacker collective Anonymous claims they've successfully hacked into the internal server of German studio Constantin Film and reported that Emma Watson is now attached to star in the movie according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A source told E! News that the actress has not signed on to do the film version of E.L. James' novel however, which could just be a cover until the studio is ready to make the announcement. Watson's name has been thrown around in rumors since Sept. as people are desperate for the cast to be set for the film.

"No one has been cast yet," a Universal Pictures spokesman said.

Watson has not commented on whether or not she would be interested in the role, nor have any of her reps.

The actress will next appear in Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring," and Darren Arnofsky's "Noah." Watson will also be featured in the apocalyptic comedy "This Is the End," playing herself.

What do you think? Should Watson take the lead role in "Fifty Shades of Grey" or is someone better for the part?
