Ram has been in the industry of providing high-quality vans and trucks. Now, the company offers the 2017 Ram Power Wagon with better and tougher features and qualities.
The 12,000-lb Warn winch of the Ram Power Wagon is equipped with a sway bar disconnect and standard front and rear selectable lockers. Under the hood, it boasts a powerful 6.4L Hemi V8 engine for heavy duty and long drives.
The Ram Power Wagon comes with the disconnecting units called as the "Smart Bar." This feature replaced the Ram's standard solid front and rear anti-roll bars.
The Smart Bars give the Ram Power Wagon some extra space in the structure (up to 26 inches) while crawling off-road without sacrificing on-road stability. In addition to that, the Ram Power Wagon's capability is doubled with the use of the "Articulink."
The "Articulink" provides an extra bushing in the front control arm that provides solid front axle. This gives the 2017 Ram Power Wagon the ability to twist more even on a challenging terrain.
On the other hand, the Ram Power Wagon keeps the standard 9.25-in front axle. However, the rear axle measures 11.5-in, an inch thicker than the former. Moreover, the rear receives stronger rear axle shafts measuring over 38 millimeters in diameter.
Driving the Ram Power Wagon offers an experience that is similarly comfortable on the way up the hill, with its eight cylinders' full low-end torque. The output peaks at 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque which is more than enough for road duty. Because of this, the Ram Power Wagon keeps moving steadily even when traversing up the steep and sandy terrain.
The air bags of the Ram Power Wagon were also improved. It is designed with the advanced multistage front airbags, the supplemental front seat-mounted side airbags, the side-curtain airbags and the side-curtain front and rear airbags. Additional safety and security features include Dual note electric horns, electronic vehicle information center, temperature and compass gauge and the traveler / mini trip computer.
