Apple Will Be Revealing The 9.7-Inch Ipad Pro 2 Along With Other New Products Next Week

Macotakara, a Japanese site, reported on Wednesday that suppliers from China believe that the 9.7 inch iPad Pro 2 could launch next week. The analysts are basing this prediction on supply chain info and the lack of a scheduled Apple event that will start next week.

Apple usually invites the media to a launch event at least ten days beforehand. And if the reports about Apple announcing the new products as early as next week is right, it is possible that the tech giant could announce the device next week.

It was previously reported that the new 9.7-inch version might feature the same specification as the ongoing model, with the exception of the A10X CPU, upgraded from the A10 chip that is found in the iPhone 7. Apple is speculated to reveal three new iPads this spring.

The current 9.7-inch iPad Pro with A9X chip has a price of $599, while the A8X-powered iPad Air 2, also 9.7 inches, will cost $399. Speculations have suggested that the ongoing 9.7-inch iPad Pro might be replaced by a new 10.5-inch version having a slightly larger display and new design.  Apple also might keep the same form factor as the 9.7-inch model by shrinking the bezel around the screen, providing the users more room to work with on a bigger panel without added bulk.

The 10.5-inch iPad Pro is also anticipated to have slimmer bezels, and there's a chance that it will have no Home button. This design could be similar to the speculated 5.8-inch iPhone. The tablet could come with a higher-resolution display and quad microphones.

The updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro is said to have a 12-megapixel rear camera and True Tone display like the ongoing 9.7-inch model. It uses an advanced four-channel ambient light sensor to adapt the color and intensity of the screen quickly.

Apple's plan to host an event later this month could likely fall between Monday, March 27 and Friday, March 31, given the ten days buffer for inviting the media.Unfortunately, no devices were named by the company, but everyone is expecting it to be the iPad Pro 2.
