Buick has just released a teaser photo introducing a snippet of its latest 2018 Enclave. The photo shows only the side-view of the front section of the upcoming crossover.
The teaser photo unveils the 2018 Buick Enclave will get some refresh on its grille. In the photo, it can be spotted that the new crossover also carries now a similar grille design found in the LaCrosse and Encore.
Furthermore, the new Enclave is also getting some redesign on its headlights. Looking at the teaser photo, the new crossover will have narrower headlights compared to its previous model released in 2013, MotorTrend reported.
In another report, the 2018 Buick Enclave is expected to carry the 3.6-liter V-6 for the standard model. It is also expected to have a front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.
Motor Authority speculates that the new Enclave will have a turbocharged inline-4 as an option model. The publication also suggests that the new crossover will have a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Underneath, the new Enclave will most likely share the same platform with the recently launched 2018 Chevrolet Traverse at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The said platform is a stretched variant of General Motor's platform for C1XX.
With regard to shape, the 2018 Buick Enclave is expected to have some resemblance with its predecessor. However, the new crossover will just have a sportier and sleek character.
The new 2018 Buick Enclave is scheduled to make its grand debut on April 11. Buick will introduce the new crossover one day before the New York Auto Show's opening press day.
Moreover, the automaker will also introduce the first Avenir model in America in the auto show next month. The model is another version of the new Enclave which is improved by the sub-brand, Avenir.
