The Internet just got funnier thanks to a new YouTube channel by some powerful comedic talent.
Sarah Silverman and Michael Cera have teamed up with sketch duo Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim better known as "Tim & Eric" and the rap-comic Reggie Watts to create the "JASH" comedy network on YouTube.
According to Silverman the network's name became solidified rather spontaneously.
"Literally, we were at a restaurant and Tim said, 'Just attitude!' Which is so Tim," Silverman told The Hollywood Reporter. "And then Michael Cera said, 'So...hey?' Which is so Michael Cera."
And so "JASH" was born, with a big assist from Google, who approached the group and offered them free rein produce material for a new online laugh destination, which deputed at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
Apparently their first idea for the network's name was "Josh," but that was already taken, which led them to "JASH."
Regardless of what it's called, the end result will likely generate a lot of laughs.
"We each have pages within Jash and we each can curate those pages," Silverman said. "This is what we think is funny. It may not be your cup of tea, but there's no testing involved, there's no second-guessing of what a 14-year-old boy would like. It's just a place to do stuff and fail or not fail."
The channel does not have many videos posted yet, mainly promotional material and weirdly-tilted and backwards-playing video of Michael Cera running.
The crew is working on upcoming material, including a "French film noir trailer" from Silverman and a 25-minute short film by Cera.
The next videos will launch April 8.
