The Range Rover Sport is also the best-selling Land Rover in North America according to a recent press release.

The entire ride will be shown live to audiences all-around the world on a "dedicated microsite" made available by Land Rover. "The all-new Range Rover Sport takes the model to another level," John Edwards , Land Rover Global Brand Director, said "It is Land Rover's most dynamic vehicle yet and showcases the best of British design, engineering and technological innovation."

The new Range Rover Sport is the third Range Rover model to be launched since 2011. The model follows the critically acclaimed 2012 Range Rover Evoque and the 2013 Range Rover.

No specifics have been revealed about the vehicle as of yet, and pricing will be listed for base models at the N.Y. Auto Show. Check back for more details on the new car after it is revealed later this month.
