When the LG Stylo 2 Plus was released last year, it came with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and the company promised that a Nougat update would be coming soon. But the phone has been already in the market for quite some time now, and it seems the update could be finally happening.

The smartphone with model number LGE LG-K530 has been spotted on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench. Per the listing on the site, it is seen having a single-core of 581 and a multi-core score of 2017 points.

The LG Stylo 2 Plus has a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone currently runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The phone also houses a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. It has an internal storage memory of 16 GB, which is expandable to an additional 2TB of memory.

The device has a 3,000 mAh battery that provides up to 20 hours of talk time and 19 days of standby time. It also comes with a stylus pen that will support, sketching, writing, captioning, and doodling. Another useful feature of the phone is its Screen Off Memo.

This Screen Off Memo feature allows the use to write down notes or any ideas on the phone's screen without needing to turn it on. One just has to pull out the stylus pen to activate the feature. This has also been used in Samsung's new Galaxy Tab S3.

The LG smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner for the safety of data. This allows users to keep their device secured and assures the privacy of the owner.

When it comes to price, the T-Mobile variant LG Stylo Plus 2 has a price of $240. So far, the South Korean tech has yet to confirm if the phone is getting the new Android Nougat update. So stay tuned for more updates about LG and other gadgets.
