The latest version of the iPhone from tech giant Apple is said to feature amazing technology. It has been recently speculated that the Apple iPhone 8 will sport massive display.
iPhone 8 expected to sport massive display touchscreen. The much-anticipated smartphone has been the subject of a lot of speculations given that Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has been quite secretive about its plans. A recent article from news website Nikkei Asian Review says that the smartphone will sport a 5.8-inch display touchscreen which 0.3 inches larger that the iPhone 7 Plus.
The Apple iPhone 8 itself will not get any bigger as the Cupertino company is looking into shrinking the bezel around the screen. Some speculations say that Apple may do away with the bezel completely. The display will be an OLED display which will be sharper, brighter, and more vivid.
Apple's move to raise the display size is to meet the demand for smartphones with bigger displays but not necessary size. Apple does, however, intend to raise the average price of its iPhone again.
It should be noted that the iPhone price has gone up by as much as 10 percent in the last three years with the current average price at around $700. The smartphone could possibly be priced at US$1000 with all the speculated new technology it will be bringing to users.
The much-speculated smartphone will allegedly feature a depth-sensing infrared module at the front. This feature could possibly allow for games where a user's head is placed onto the bodies of game characters. It will also allow the smartphone to create 3D selfies for use in augmented reality apps.
Other speculations say that Apple will be releasing an iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus along with the new Apple iPhone 8. This could be possible given that the iPhone 6 had 6S and 6S Plus variants.
