The latest Overwatch patch notes from the PTR Servers confirmed characters that will undergo significant changes. When everybody thought it is going to be Bastion, it appears Ana will receive the biggest nerf. Also, Blizzard explained that these changes would come to Overwatch very soon, in fact, Dev teased tomorrow.
Based on the PTR Servers, Ana and her Biotic Rifle damage will drop from 80 to 60. Her Biotic Grenade will also undergo a 50% decrease from 60 to 30 damage. The biggest change for Ana is her healing sniper dropping from 100 to 50 healing factor.
According to Blizzard, the company is iterating changes on the PTR patch, but these possible changes are subject to change. The developer also teased by saying "these should be up on the PTR very soon, hopefully, tomorrow morning. As always these updates are subject to change."
Sources stated that Overwatch received multiple changes regarding its PTR servers since the past weeks. Bastion recently received significant changes from formerly 35% to 20% less damage while in Configuration: Sentry or Tank. Developers explained that the introduction of Ironclad passive ability made Bastion too difficult to deal with, thus, the reduction maintains the character's survivability, and at the same time should not be overbearing to enemies.
In summary, the latest Overwatch PTR patch changes bring Ana's Biotic Rifle from 80 to 60 damage, Biotic Grenade impact damage from 60 to 30 damage, and impact healing from 100 to 50 healing factor. Junkrat will no longer receive any damages when he executes his explosions.
Orisa's Fusion Driver magazine size dropped from 200 to 150, and her Supercharger cost increased to 15 percent. Sombra's Stealth sound effects reduced to 15 meters, and Translocator cooldown reduced from 6 seconds to 4 seconds. Winston's Barrier Projector cooldown starts when the barrier is placed. Lastly, Zenyatta's Orb of Destruction Alternate fire recovery lowered from 1 second to 0.6 seconds, and his Orb of Discord can now target enemies even through barriers.
