An FBI task force was able to locate seven children unharmed on Thursday, Feb. 28, who had been missed for close to a week from their home in Fresno, C.A. according to the Associated Press.

The children were found with their father at his home in Sacramento, according to Fresno police Sgt. Jamie Rios.

Rios told the Fresno Bee that the children, aged 5 through 12, were all in good spirits. Police officials had been unsuccessful in trying to reach the father after their mother and stepfather reported the children missing according to the Examiner.

The father, Xa Yang, has been estranged from the family for three years according to the Associated Press.

Yang was not detained by police, but Fresno and Sacramento police departments will be investigating to determine if a crime was in fact committed according to The Inquisitr.

The children were taken from their Fresno home when their mother and stepfather left them to go grocery shopping on Saturday night. The mother and father said to police that they came home from the store with groceries and the kids were gone, along with their clothes.

Investigators found no signs of forced entry, and have yet to determine if any of the kids were in any danger and did not issue an Amber Alert according to the Associated Press.

The children's names are Chee Nou Yang, 12; Cha Meng Yang, 11; Zia Yang, 10; Chue Feng Yang, 8; Zang Yang, 7; Tria Yang, 6; and Tou Ger Yang, 5.

Anyone with information about the children or Yang is asked to call detective Josh Mendizabal at (559) 621-2499 or (559) 621-7000.
