The 2017 Geneva Motor Show is one of the most renowned events in the car industry. This year's event marks its 87th edition.
The Geneva Motor Show's main goal is for different automakers to unite and present what they can offer in the future. This usually features presentation of restyled cars, showcase of new models, displays, talks and meeting with the automakers and more.
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show tickets can be bought from the Geneva Palaexpo's ticket office directly. Or fans can go over at the Motor Show's official website which can be found here.
Online ticketing for the show is available for those who are coming from a different country. Upon checking, the Motor Show's official website listed the ticket prices which can be seen below
Adults - CHF 16.-
Children from 6 to 16, pensioners and disabled person - CHF 9.
Groups (bulk order for minimum 20 people) - CHF 11.- /each.
The website also notes that a discount of 50% off on all entry tickets are sold on site after 4 PM. This is for an entry on the same day and cannot be combined with any other offer. The doors for the 2017 Geneva Motor Show press day opens on March 7.
Audi is expected to reveal more RS models on the show, including the RS5 coupe and RS3 Sportback. The RS3 will be powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine with 400 horsepower.
On the other hand, it seems like BMW doesn't have any surprise debuts for this year. The company already unveiled the facelifted 4 series and 5 series wagon. What BMW will showcase, however, will be the i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition.
As for Ferrari, the Italian sportscar maker introduces the most powerful series production Ferrari model yet. It will be the replacement for the F12Berlinetta.
Ford will give the audience a more close-up look at the new Ford Fiesta ST. The model features a 1.5-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine with around 200 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque.
The 2017 Geneva Motor show will not be complete without Honda. The company is expected to reveal the production Honda Civic Type R.
Lamborghini is also in the lineup with a hardcore Huracan variant. It is expected to be named the Lamborghini Huracan Performante.
Land Rover will also be in the mix as the company expands its Range Rover lineup with the new Velar model. Lexus is expected to showcase its LS 500h hybrid this at this year's show as well.
McLaren is ready to unleash the replacement for the 650s at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. It will be called the McLaren 720S.
Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Pagani, Porsche, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo will also be on the show. Several supercars and electric cars will make their debuts as well.
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show dates are from March 9 to March 19, 2017. Doors to the exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Geneva's Palaexpo in Switzerland.
