The Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport had been released into the market with impressive reviews. However, at this point in time, the 2018 Range Rover Velar has taken the spot as it was recently announced to release in India this week. What are the takeaways?
Although its brothers in the SUV category entered the market sooner than the 2018 Range Rover Velar, the latter has stolen the light as the larger vehicle came integrated its styling cues with a more compact package, reported MSN. Its front grille was said to be better-looking than the other brand's SUVs which is larger and overshadows the entire front body of the vehicle.
Moving on to its side, the D-pillar and rear windows looked similar to the Q5, installed with the 113.1-inch wheelbase which is also larger than the others. With respect to its rear end, the 2018 Range Rover Velar has roofline features that are distinct within the model which provided a rear greenhouse top, making the vehicle more green-friendly than the others.
Moreover, according to Liguel Talk, the vehicle was launched in India wherein the company's Peter Virk manifested its features. According to him, the Velar can anticipate the needs of its driver and when they need them, has the same camouflage as the brand models, and, as mentioned, is larger than the other SUVs of the company.
The specs revealed that the model is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel engine, a petrol four-cylinder of the same size, and the 3.0L supercharged V6 - all choices for the model. The model could also be enhanced with the R-Dynamic trim for those who wish their vehicles to look sportier, add in dark alloys as pedals, bumpers, and other technological features.
The 2018 Range Rover Velar was revealed in India as the third vehicle next to the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport which released prior to the larger SUV. Will its features overpower the other two?
