The Honda Grom Scrambler is the 2017 mini bike with a sportier and more aggressive look. It is one of the coolest motorcycles made by American Honda, which first thing riders will notice is the new rad new colors.
The mini bike has an enhanced LED design headlight and an improved two-tier seat. It also comes with a more defined tail section and improved low-mount muffler design. It is equipped with 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder and a four-stroke engine, which provides real excitement and freedom of motorcycling.
The 2017 Honda Grom Scrambler is said to be user-friendly, which some of the riders believe that it eliminated any intimidation factor. The motorcycle's bore and stroke measures 52.4 mm x 57.9 mm, which gives the compression ratio of 9.3:1. It also comes with PGM-FI with automatic enrichment engine induction and electronic ignition.
On their official website, Honda revealed that the motorcycle has a SOHC and two valves per cylinder valve train. It offers four-speed transmission. The front suspension features a 31 mm inverted fork with 3.9 inches travel, while the rear suspension comes with a single shock with steel box-section swingarm in 4.1 inches travel.
The front brake is composed of single 220 mm disc with a hydraulic dual-piston caliper, while the rear brake is made of single 190 mm disc with a hydraulic single-piston caliper. The front tire measures 120/70-12 and the rear tire is 130/70-12.
According to Motorcycle, the 2017 Honda Grom Scrambler has a 25 degrees rake and 81 mm trail. The wheelbase measures 47.2 inches and the seat height is 30 inches. It offers a 1.45 gallons fuel capacity and 229 pounds curb weight.
The minibike features 134 miles per gallon, which Honda estimates fuel consumption based on EPA exhaust emission measurement. However, the actual mileage will vary depending on how the far the ride is and it will also vary in how the rider maintains the vehicle.
The 2017 Honda Grom Scrambler features the model ID of Grom 125. It meets the EPA standards. It is available in four color variants, the Matte Gray Metallic, Bright Yellow, Pearl White and Pearl Red.
