Microsoft Surface Pro 5 did not show up at the 2017 Mobile World Congress. Rumors now claim that the highly anticipated tablet will most likely come out alongside HoloLens and the Xbox Project Scorpio.
The 2017 Mobile World Congress is the highly rumored avenue for the much-awaited Microsoft Surface Pro 5 launch. Unfortunately, the Surface Pro 4 successor did not show up when the 2017 MWC doors opened yesterday, February 27.
Despite the absence of the Surface Pro 5 at the 2017 MWC, it is still strongly believed that the upcoming flagship is about to debut very soon. Proofs pointing to the nearing launch of the highly anticipated tablet seem to be reliable coming from sources connected with Microsoft itself.
New reports now claim that the new tablet will most likely come out together with Xbox One Project Scorpio and HoloLens. This release date theory was based on the job description of Microsoft's product designer Toby Fitch posted on LinkedIn.

Apparently, Toby Fitch earlier specified in his LinkedIn profile that he is working as a product designer 2 at Microsoft since June 2016 up to the present. His job description detailed that he is part of a team that focuses on Research and Development of future devices like HoloLens, Xbox and Surface Pro 5.
This post was grabbed and shared on the Twitter account of the Walking Cat. Based on this earlier profile details, speculations have surfaced claiming that the upcoming Surface Pro 5 will probably come out with the same release date of HoloLens and Xbox project Scorpio, Enstars reported.
However, looking at the LinkedIn profile post of Toby Fitch now, it no longer contains the said job description. When in fact, the said job description specifying "HoloLens, Surface Pro 5 and Xbox" were spotted when we made our last report on February 24.
Meanwhile, the Microsoft HoloLens is expected to be released on March 30. The Xbox project Scorpio has no official release date yet but is expected to be revealed in the upcoming E3 event in June.
If this new theory is correct, the new tablet will have to wait for the release of Xbox project Scorpio by June, suggesting the new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 can come out by the middle of the year?
