The new 2018 Audi S5 Sportback is made from the already existing formula. Audi has taken their best-looking body and has fitted it with the strongest powertrain into it.
According to Car And Driver, the latest redesign of Audi S5 Sportback is nicely executed. It is a car that you’ll want to show off. It is equipped with a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 engine. It has 354 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 369 pound-feet of torque at a low 1370 rpm. Despite the lack of the crisp-edged responsiveness, the turbo lag is mitigated by the eight-speed automatic transmission. There will be no manual gearbox options for the S5.
According to Audi, many of the popular driver-assistance systems operate properly only if the gear selection is managed electronically. That is why the opted to go for automatic gearbox only. They claim that the S5 Sportback needs 4.7 seconds to go from 0-60mph and the top speed governed at 155mph. On the inside, the S5 Sportback offers more cargo space than the A5 Sportback. The available area can be expanded to 46 cubes when the rear seats are folded. The interior is fully transferred from the S4 sedan. It has the same firm and comfortable seats, and the futuristic dashboard with two TFT screens.
