Ford Focus 2019 was reported to look largely unchanged from its earlier version but car experts are saying that it will be similar to a saloon. It's more spacious and will feature a better legroom than the previous model.

According to Autocar UK, a prototype of the Ford Focus 2019 was spotted in Europe zooming around the cold, snowy weather to test its features in extreme weather conditions. Basically, it's a 5-door saloon and will be launched probably in early 2018.

Autocar also mentioned, Ford European President Jim Farley was quoted to have mentioned that Ford's development funds have been channeled more to designing SUVs, as this type of car has been a keen favorite among families. Regarding the new Ford 2019's platform, it is expected that the 2019 model will not be drastically changed. Rather, Ford's designers will improve its framework to adapt to global accident standards, said Car and Driver. Excellent car suspension will also be seen in the new model.

Moreover, the new Ford Focus 2019 is not expected to be much wider but It is reported to have a longer legroom because of a 50mm wheelbase. The Ford Focus will also have an estimated weight savings of 50 kg and the car's aerodynamics is also anticipated to be enhanced in this model.

New Ford Redesign said that the current Ford Focus 2019 has a 160 horsepower, 2 liter 4-cylinder engine, as well as a 123 horsepower, 1 liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine. These refinements are expected to be adapted to the 2019 model as well. The Focus 2019 also has a six-speed manual transmission - perfect for a compact car that has some stiff competition against the Chevrolet Cruze, Mazda's Mazda 3 and the ever popular Honda Civic (at least in the US market).

The new Ford Focus 2019 is expected to launch in the US sometime next year. It is expected to be sold both as a hatchback and a sedan with a retail price of USD17,000- USD18,000.
