"Injustice 2" will come out in May later this year. Gamers are very excited for this sequel. Recently, there are even more exciting updates: new comic book by Tom Taylor, Kevin Conroy's return, and a new trailer showing the Return of Superman.
Tom Taylor's New Comic Series. According to Gamespot, a new comic series for 2017 will be coming soon. Tom Taylor, writer of the majority of the original Injustice: Gods Among Us comic books, will be the writer once more. The new comic will detail events between the two games and will debut digitally on April 11. The first printed issues will be on sale on May 3.
The "Injustice 2" comic book will pick up soon after the first game. Superman and his regime are imprisoned while the world is reeling. Batman is left to pick up the pieces, and a new threat is growing.
Batman will still have some allies. Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Blue Beetle, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Cheetah, and Swamp Thing will all be there as well. Never before seen heroes will soon surface. The Suicide Squad will be back and larger than ever.
Taylor also reveals that the second comic series will have a very big, ongoing story. The new "Injustice 2" will mirror this and have a very long game plot filled with big shocks and character reveals.
Kevin Conroy's Return. According to Bleeding Cool, Kevin Conroy has been the voice of Batman for over 20 years. He first started in WB's celebrated Batman: The Animated Series then continued in the Arkham games and Injustice: Gods Among Us. Conroy has confirmed that he will be returning for "Injustice 2" to voice the Dark Knight.
"Shattered Alliances" Trailer. Most recently, a new trailer for the video game sequel has surfaced. In another report by Bleeding Cool, part one of a new trailer featuring the return of Superman named "Shattered Alliances" was released. Batman and Superman have a heated exchange, and there is a lot of action. It ends by saying "The Regime Will Rise."
