Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia is finally coming to North America and Europe. Its book was first released in Japan, to celebrate the classic NES game 30th anniversary.
Super Mario Bros is a platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. In the game, it consists of player Mario and his brother Luigi where they travel the Mushroom Kingdom in order to rescue Princess Toadstool from the antagonist Bowser.
The game was considered the best-selling game of all time for a single platform for selling 40 million units in three decades until Nintendo's very own Wii Sports takes the title. In 2005, IGN names the game as the "greatest game of all time" for aiding the resurrection of the American video game market during the 1980s when it crashed.

Furthermore, Twinfinite states that this is not the first time that Dark Horse, the publisher of the Encyclopedia, has put out a Nintendo branded reading the material. They have also published The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia and the Legend of Zelda: Arts and Artifacts. It was released on the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda.
