The 2017 Scottsdale car auction held annually and attended by car collectors is just around the corner. Before high-quality vehicles would be featured at the event, reports suggested that the performance heavyweights such as American muscle cars might be the most attractive vehicles for consumers. What can fans expect out of the event? Will the classic muscles steal the show?

To begin with, car enthusiasts are looking forward to the 2017 Scottsdale auction sale under the Russo and Steele events. Since the famous Barret-Jackson event had already commenced last January, fans expect the American muscle cars to be the stars of the upcoming show. As reported by MSN, Russo and Steele are starting to see huge possibilities of success under the muscle car market this year. According to marketing and media director, Darin Roberge, external economic factors point those muscle cars are slowly coming back strong into the market which savvy sellers can take advantage of.

He later added that the Baby Boomers in the market will be the ones highly interested in purchasing muscle cars since car collectors found the franchise to be valuable as the years' pass by. Apart from them, the American muscle cars were also expected to be passionate about the franchise since these vehicles have been trending due to them being featured in the latest movies and video games. 

In other news, Tech Crunch reported that apart from the American muscle cars, the 2017 Scottsdale auctions will also feature self-driving vehicles such as the Volvo XC90 SUV. The showcase of these modern cars proved that the market has taken a more liberal stance on driving tech vehicles that they passed the car-collector-standards. Furthermore, the showcase of tech-savvy vehicles also hinted that the event will pave the way in the company's future direction with respect to car collectibles.

The upcoming Russo and Steele's showcase in the 2017 Scottsdale car auction events will feature big-block, full-size offerings of American muscle cars. One of the vehicles that will be featured is 1965 Pontiac Bonneville convertible which can be purchased at $90,200.
