"Grand Theft Auto 6" release date is reportedly been pushed back as Rockstar Games have confirmed a fall 2017 release date for "Red Dead Redemption 2." Various theories have surfaced regarding the potential launch of the highly anticipated game "GTA 6."
One theory claims a 2021 release date. The theory stems from a seemingly Easter egg spotted in a scenario in "Grand Theft Auto 5."
YouTube use Itz Frolickz came out with a theory that the release date of the successor of "GTA 5" could have been teased already in the current game. Apparently, a bizarre door numbering at the airport featured in "Grand Theft Auto 5" seems to have dropped the clue.
If you go to the airport in "GTA 5," you can spot two doors with number markings of 2013 and 2021 respectively. The numberings do not seem the usual method, as doors are expected to have been marked with consecutive numbers.
Furthermore, it can be noted that the other doors at the airport no longer have door number markings, aside from the two previously mentioned. Hence, the YouTube user came out with a speculation that the bizarre door numbers might be pointing to the release dates of the Grand Theft Auto siblings.

Fans can recall that the "GTA 5" was released on 2013. Since the other door was marked with "2021," the YouTube user speculated that the successor would most likely be released on 2021.
Another theory points to a 2020 release date. Rockstar Games has previously mentioned that fans should not expect a release of the upcoming "GTA 6" until the developer has released the "Red Dead Redemption 2" game. Now that the RDR2 has been announced to come out sometime in fall 2017, a three-year gap could be plausible for Rockstar to complete the next installment of "GTA," TechRadar reported.
Meanwhile, another theory suggests a 2018 release date. Considering the history pattern of Rockstar in releasing the "GTA" installments, the upcoming "GTA 6" will most likely have a 5-year gap with its predecessor.
"GTA: San Andreas" was released in 2004, while "GTA 4" came out in 2008. "Grand Theft Auto 5" was released in 2013, which is a 5-year gap from its predecessor. Hence, ExpertReviews predicts that the "Grand Theft Auto 6" will probably have a 2018 release.
