Police stated today that an upstate New York woman passed narcotics to her son while kissing him during a visit at a county jail according to CBS News.
Sheriff deputies in Yates County told local media outlets that Kimberly Margeson of Penn Yan was visiting her son William Partridge last week when she hid Oxycodone pills in her mouth. She then reportedly transferred the pills from her mouth to her son while giving him a kiss.

"Investigation revealed that Kimberly put Oxycodone pills into her mouth and brought them into the jail when she visited her son William Partridge who is an inmate," the police report stated according to The Smoking Gun. "Margeson then passed the Oxycodone from her mouth to her sons [sic] mouth when she kissed him."
Police have yet to see how the drugs were discovered, but the 54-year-old woman was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband.

Margeson pleaded not guilty and was released after posting $2,000 bail.
Patridge, 30, was also charged during the ordeal for promoting prison contraband. He will remain in jail as he serves an unrelated felony weapon possessions charge according to CBS News.
The pills, which serves as a narcotic pain reliever similar to morphine, were not going to be sold in jail as Partridge intended on using them himself according to a report by The Smoking Gun.
