"Game of Thrones" will soon end, and we all know this sad truth. Fans of HBO's hit fantasy series are not the only ones dreading the end, but the show's stars as well. Some of them, like Alfie Allen, Liam Cunningham, and Jacob Anderson, have expressed their mixed reactions regarding the inevitable end of the show.
Since there are only two remaining seasons before the show will be part of a past era ruled by knights, dragons, and kings, the cast has been anxious for "GoT" Season 7 and 8. Mashable was able to chat with a few cast members and dished out their feelings about the end of days, for the show, that is.
Liam Cunningham, the actor who breathed life into Ser Davos Seaworth, metaphorically noted that it is like slowly giving up an addiction. "I know we're all feeling it on set," the actor added.
The set has been his family since his character, Ser Davos Seaworth, first debuted in Season 2 "The North Remembers." "So it can be occasionally a little odd on set; it adds to the work and adds to the tension and we can use it, but I've never committed to a job like this before, this length of time. I've got a family on this that I'm gonna miss hugely," said Liam Cunningham.
Meanwhile, Alfie Allen, the actor playing Theon Greyjoy, has been part of the series' major characters, debuting in the series "GoT" premiere. He does feel as if things are coming to an end. Perhaps, the line, "Winter is coming," is highly applicable in this scenario, given that he was once a ward of the North.
"It's kind of crazy. It's sad for us because we're not going to get to hang out as much," said Allen. But he noted that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be one crazy season and will blow people's minds, although the other seasons had as much deaths and craziness. You can't simply grasp the craziness this season could bring.
One important thing he noted is that a few characters whose paths haven't crossed before will do now. Alfie Allen could be referring to the impending fate of the current Queen of Westeros Cersei Lannister and the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, who by the way is on her way to claim her birth right, alongside Highgarden's Lady Olenna.
The character actor behind Grey Worm, Jacob Anderson, likened the show to a pressure cooker, a total and absolute chaos. "It doesn't feel like a panic, but I'm panicked for people, I think. I think, and this is true of Season 6, you can feel that things are coming to a close," added the actor.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is only 7 episodes long, compared with the usual 10 per season. And the filming for the highly anticipated season just wrapped and is entering postproduction. So again, "Winter is coming" for fans of HBO's hit fantasy series.

In other "Game of Thrones" news, Esquire reports that there were 12 barrels of wildfire used in the "Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience" behind-the-scenes, minute-long, teaser video. This is the first footage of the tour showcasing the 3 years it took to plan the whole event. It also featured Ramin Djawadi who composed the eargasmic musical score of the series and the full orchestra.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is slated to air this summer, wherein loyalties will be put to the test. And the fate of the kingdom is at the hands of the victor in the upcoming war for the Iron Throne.
