The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT is considered one of the best SUVs ever to be produced. It is surely enough to give its competitors a run for its money. The upcoming Durango is capable of producing insane acceleration speed which is somehow unlikely for a vehicle this size.
According to The Car Connection, the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT is powered with 475-horsepower engine enough to accelerate from zero to 60mph in just 4.4 seconds! The Durango is not just some fancy and plush family cruiser. It is one intense ride not for the faint hearted. It is definitely perfect for freeway driving, however, this beast of an SUV is really meant to be taken for a wild spin.
Alright, the wild spin may not be suitable for the family especially with little kids, but still, it is one good option. For fast hauling from Point A to B and back, this is the best and fastest. It is so intense that Dodge includes a day at the Bob Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Arizona with the purchase of a Durango SRT.

The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT comes with a lowered suspension. It also comes equipped with thicker sway bars and its own spring tuning. The lightweight 20-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in a choice of summer or all-season rubber by Pirelli. It also has Brembo brakes enabling it to stop in 115 feet coming from a speed of 60 mph.
The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT has the same three rows of seats and adds a suede headliner and sports steering wheel. There is also the availability of upgraded leather and carbon fiber accent trim. It also has the latest state-of-the-art 8.4-inch infotainment system which allows for easy tracking of just about anything the driver wants to track like 0-60 sprints and much more.
As added by CNET, the upcoming Durango SRT made its debut in recently concluded Chicago Auto Show. It also boasts of sharper handling, thanks to the suspension upgrades which includes Bilstein active dampers, sturdier and stiffer springs and thicker antiroll bars.
The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT also remains to be extremely capable towing as it has the maximum capacity of 8,600 pounds. This beast of an SUV is expected to be available in dealerships by the end of the year.
