Since the 1990s, Nissan Sentra has been one of the most sought-after the vehicle in Asia due to its affordability and simplicity. Since then, technological features made to the model had been minimal. However, just recently, the brand new 2017 Nissan Sentra have entered back into the market with improved features. What are they?
Initially, Mr. Audistein mocked the 2017 Nissan Sentra model when he compared it to the 370Z, reported Jalopnik. When the model was declared going out of production in the Mexican market for being a dangerous design for decades, Audistein took to social media and laughed about the model's downfall. He said, "Why get the Sentra when consumers could easily get the 370Z?" And laughed about his snide comment. However, the report responded to the man's snide comment and posted a photo of a woman posing next to the majestic 370Z. In fact, the Sentra model has made several developments to its technological features that may prove the snide comment to be an unfair notion about the model having healthy sales records during the 90s.
Selling at $16,990 as its base price, the 2017 Nissan Sentra has been better than ever. It can now run 130hp and received a 27/35 mpg for city/highway rating. Installed with 5 seats for a 4-door sedan, it is powered by a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine which can be purchased with a 6-speed manual transmission as a standard feature. Technological features include the Bluetooth Hands-Free phone system, the Cruise-Control with illuminated steering-wheel-mounted controls, a USB connection port, and Smart Auto headlights, reported Nissan USA.
For the SV model, the price is increased to $18,790 for additional features such as the Blind Spot Warning. This feature detects a blind spot area of the 2017 Nissan Sentra, and an indicator by the driver's or front passenger's door pillar would display the Advanced Drive-Assist Display. If the turn signal is on, the indicator would flash a warning for the blind spot and alert the driver of the situation. Other features include the Forward Emergency Braking and the Intelligent Cruise Control.
