"Battlefield 1" winter updates have just been deployed today. Gamers can now feast on the new maps, new gameplay modes, operations and weapons.
DICE has just released the winter updates this Valentine's Day. "Battlefield 1" has greatly expanded with four new maps to explore and win battles.

NEW MAP: VERDUN HEIGHTS. This new map is an uphill battle towards the great foundations of Verdun. In this new map, gamers will encounter devastating forest fires where their goal is to have dominion. The description on the official website warns that the "Devil's Anvil" constantly consumes even the "bravest combatants."
NEW MAP: FORT DE VAUX. This is the dark underworld of Fort de Vaux inside a fort in the World War 1 era. In this new map, gamers will encounter French and Germans battling with various weapons. Gamers can choose from a variety of weapons like bayonets, guns, flamethrowers and grenades.
NEW MAP: SOISSONS. Also set in the World War 1 era, the Soissons is one of the biggest tank assaults. The goal in this map is for the French 10th army to recover Soissons. Although the image presenting this map depicts a peaceful French countryside, gamers will utilize the powerful Saint Chamond tanks, planes, and infantry clash to take back the Soissons.
NEW MAP: RUPTURE. Set in Fontenoy, gamers will journey the calm maze of steel beasts to set an ambush. The goal here is to capture key bridges across the Aisne river.
Aside from the new maps, the winter update for "Battlefield 1" also came with a new gameplay mode. The new maps will require this new gameplay mode to win the battle with ease.
NEW GAMEPLAY MODE: FRONTLINES. The goal here is to fight and win one flag at a time. Acquiring the flag enables the team to move on to the next. The new gaming experience offers a mix of Rush and Conquest during the battle over the flag.
NEW GAMEPLAY MODE: PILOT A STEEL BEHEMOTH. The goal is to control an epic new behemoth by spawning into the Char 2C tank. This gigantic behemoth is significant in turning the tide of the whole battle.
NEW GAMEPLAY MODE: ASSAULT TANK GUN. This is the impressive French construction which can be utilized to dominate the battlefield. Gamers can utilize the allied tank called St. Chamond, which is also described as the most heavily armed tank.
NEW GAMEPLAY MODE: TRENCH RAIDER ELITE CLASS. This gameplay mode enables the player to utilize the melee skills of the Trench Raider, which is the newest Elite Class. This mode makes the player a terrifying character because of its impressive grenade arsenal and brutal Raider Club.
NEW GAMEPLAY MODE: NEW STATIONARY WEAPON. The new stationary weapon is called the Siege Howitzer. An infantry player can operate this new weapon through indirect firing/aiming which is a similar vein as artillery and mortars in vehicles.
Furthermore, the new winter update features two new operations with an intense close-quarters battle. Gamers can now experience the "Devin's Anvil" and "Beyond the Marne" operations.
