At least three people have been shot and injured at Lone Star College in Texas according to a news report by the Huffington Post.
Witnesses on the scene have stated the shooting may have happened during a heated argument that could have started over a bad grade. Two of the three were targeted victims and are in serious condition according to ABC News.
The shooting occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. local time according to school spokesman Jed Young. At least one of the suspected shooters was shot and taken into custody.

The victims were taken into surgery at Ben Taub General Hospital. Agents from the FBI and the Bureau of Alchol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have been sent to the scene to help local authorities according to Click2Houston.com.
"LSC-North Harris is locked down," according to an alert on the school's website. "Students, faculty and staff are advised to take immediate shelter where you are. Do not enter the campus until notified further."
One person has been detained, but another suspect is still on the loose according to KTRK-TV. The second suspect fled the scene shortly after the shooting occurred.
One of the victims is a school employee and was shot in the leg, while the other was found on the ground unconscious. At least five gunshots were heard and there could be at least two shooters according to the Huffington Post.
The college was evacuated shortly after and other nearby schools are currently on lockdown. Over 90,000 students are enrolled at the North Harris Campus according to Yahoo.

The shooting comes just five weeks after 26 people were killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in December. Of the victims, 20 children were killed, sparking a debate on gun control issues around the nation.
