There are rumors circulating that Samsung Galaxy S9 is well on its way. However, that is not a possibility since there is even no news available for the upcoming Samsung S8 release. Nothing has been made official so another device is definitely not feasible at this point.
According to Trusted Reviews, the launch of S8 may take place this April. This should be exciting news for Samsung loyalists and supporters. With the advent of such release, there are already speculations for a new device such as Samsung Galaxy S9 and its alleged features.
The alleged upcoming phone is rumored to use new 7nm chips in 2018. This may be related to Dr. Heo Kuk, Managing Director of Samsung LSI pronouncement saying that Samsung Electronics have successfully mass produced an industry first which is a cutting edge 14nm and aiming to produce 7m in early 2018. This is definitely an advanced technology and having it used as part of its latest devices should make them a class above the rest.
Though Samsung may definitely incorporate the best features and technologies in their products, the 7nm is not yet in production. Samsung is still basking in the glory of their current 14nm and may start producing a more advanced version by the end of the year or early 2018 as the above report states.
