The Collision Prevent Assist Plus system allows a radar-assisted recuperative braking. B-Class Electric Drive can be fully recharged in around nine hours if the battery is empty. But if the car is charged using 400-volt three-phased electricity supply, it takes only three hours.
The B-Class Electric Drive is far better than its internal combustion engine sister cars. The car’s effortless torque and near-silent progress put it in a category of its own. Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive comes with drive system from Musk Industries. It consists of a lithium-ion battery pack under the car’s floor and a 132-kW electric motor in the nose, CarAndDriver reported. It has 179 horsepower with 251 pound-feet of torque. There are paddle shifters behind the steering wheel that allows the driver to select three levels of regenerative braking action.
